RTastra steps away from the traditional method of capturing Midi Music. When a Software Sequencer is used, Midi Events are dropped on to a time line. This technique requires input from someone with musical playing skills and a sense of rhythm. Even with the help of quantisation the subsequent shifting, stretching and changing of notes can prove all too frustrating for the novice. RTastra starts with the notes and chords and then adds the timing element. This technique can help someone terrified by the Metronome to create a masterpiece in their 'own time'. And with the addition of Fill Patterns and Effects..... voila!
